Q - Can you describe your sound in 1 sentence?
A – Hard-hitting, wobbly basslines, intricately formed drums and finely curated chords which are both powerful and dynamically textured.
Q - What inspired you to make “DONT U” & why?
A - I always try to source euphoric-like vocal adlibs to begin a track. I ended up finding these after arranging a chord progression I had written just minutes prior. I also feel as though I was listening to a lot of Camoufly earlier this year, and the elements of his music really burrowed a space in the back of my head.
Q - What is your favourite part of the track & why?
A - My favourite section of the track for me is the 0:29 second mark when the chords come in to harmonise with the vocal track to create a sort of melancholic-type feel.
Q - What 2 artists could relate to this track the most & why?
A - I mentioned Camoufly earlier on in the Q&A, but I’d like to think sections of the track are heavily influenced by some of Joy Orbison’s earlier work.
Q - What can someone expect to hear from you in the future?
A – Future me’s sound is always unwritten; however, I always try to keep a solid concept in that my chords will always be a star in my music.
Q - Any final words?
A – DONT U is out now via Transistor! Go and stream it, buy it, and play it out to your friends. Thank you once again for your support. I really hope you guys enjoy the track!
